Prerequisite: Selected school teams through application process
This three-year program prepares building level teams to lead school wide initiatives for developing, implementing and maintaining a positive and proactive behavior curriculum with a focus on instructional discipline. This research-based program is based on the school wide discipline research of Dr. Randall Sprick.
During the past ten years, over 65 schools from FDLRS Action’s five-county region have graduated from the Behavior Academy. This program was recognized by the Florida Association of Staff Development (FASD) in September 2005 for outstanding staff development practices in delivery and follow up of professional development.
