Strategic Instruction Model (SIM®)
Content Enhancement is one component of the Strategic Instruction Model® (SIM) developed by the Center for Research on Learning at the University of Kansas. The Content Enhancement Series is a set of guidebooks that can be used to teach large amounts of content to academically diverse classes in “learner friendly” ways. Specifically, the routines have been developed to help teachers enhance content and improve learners’ ability to organize, understand and remember critical information. Each guidebook in the series focuses on an important aspect of the teaching process.
