Cooperative Learning: Structures for Success
Target Audience: ~Exceptional education teachers PK-12
~General education teachers who work with students with disabilities PK-12

This two-day professional development opportunity is based on the work of Laurie and Spencer Kagan, and is a beginning awareness of the Cooperative Learning Structures developed by Kagan Professional Development. Cooperative Learning Structures are practical structures that integrate cooperative learning into every lesson. The structures, based on the philosophy of positive interdependence, individual accountability, equal opportunity and simultaneous interaction, improve learning for all students. Participants will be expected to implement the strategies included in this seminar, as well as participate in a follow up survey.
