Prerequisite: Selected school teams through application process
Write Track is a two-year K-12 program that prepares educators to teach the strategies, structures and processes of effective writing. It is a comprehensive approach designed to be implemented school wide. This program has a proven record for improving writing achievement on FCAT as well as improving vocabulary and comprehension skills. The specific strategies included in this program also assist students in writing across the curriculum, thereby enhancing their learning in the content areas. Participants will be expected to implement this program, as well as participate in follow-up activities.
